Whole Farm Review
A business appraisal that is tailored to your specific needs and objectives will provide you with an analysis of current systems and help you to identify key areas for change. Typically, an appraisal will include:-
- a detailed review of business resources and historic accounting data, identifying strengths and weaknesses
- the preparation of a present system budget to accurately establish current trading performance
- an analysis of alternative business strategies through "what if" scenarios
- recommendations on future business direction
The Whole Farm Review Scheme was launched by SEERAD in 2004, and provides grant aid, of up to £1,850, for business advice to farming and crofting businesses in Scotland.
The Scheme offers an opportunity for you to take a fresh look at your business, have it appraised, and alterntative options considered, with the help of an accredited farm business adviser.
