Business Restructuring

The restructuring of a business can occur for various reasons - both driven by commercial considerations, and by tax benefits. Examples of the type of work which we undertake for our clients would include:-

Business incorporation

converting from a sole trade or partnership to a limited company

Formation of a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)

often converting from a traditional partnership

Creation of a group structure

perhaps involving establishing what were divisions of a business as subsidiary companies

Disposal of non-core business elements - either divisions or subsidiaries
